EXTRA PICK UP DAYS

Extra Pick-up Days is the time to place items that do not fit in your trash cart at the curb to dispose of them. These extra pick-ups come at no additional charge for residents, but there are some restrictions. Please see a list of acceptable items below.

Please place small items in trash bags, (50lbs or less and not in reusable containers or cardboard boxes) neatly at your curbside. Violators may be ticketed.

Whether your normal pickup day is Thursday or Friday, all extra pick-up items must be at the curbside by THURSDAY 6:00 am regardless of your normal service day. They will make one trip through the Town, so all items must be out by 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. If Pellitteri is unable to finish all residents on Thursday, the event will continue into Friday.

Important Safety Notice on Batteries
Please do NOT put batteries—or any devices containing batteries—in your trash or recycling containers. They can start fires. If you need to charge a device, it has a battery. Don't throw it out. Take it to a drop-off site. Check your local Clean Sweep location, battery store or call2recycle.org for a nearby drop-off site. Please remove all batteries from items you set out for the annual curbside clean-ups.
